An Associated Press photo of a boy from Savage crying upon his father's return from Iraq is one of 12 from which readers of AOL news could vote for as photo of the year.
While a polar bear cub kissing its mom was the top vote-getter, it's neat that Savage got a mention in a nationwide poll.
