Join community members who are interested in volunteering their time to support the McColl Pond Environmental Learning Center and sustainable initiatives in Savage. The Friends of McColl Pond will meeting Tuesday, Nov. 18 at 7 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, Savage City Hall, 6000 McColl Drive. Items on the meeting agenda include discussion of the group's mission and priorities as well as clarification of potential positions of responsibility within the group. Participants also will receive an update on the progress of the ELC's construction, scheduled for completion Dec. 15.

City to hold silent auction of surplus items

Residents who were unable to attend last Saturday's tree sale may still purchase them at wholesale prices. The trees will be available for purchase until Thursday, May 3.
