Carver, Scott and southwest Hennepin County area residents invited to come to the annual meeting of the Carver-Scott Humane Society from 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, March 20 at the Chaska Community Center, located two blocks east of Highway 41 on Engler Boulevard in Chaska. 

Learn what is happening to assist the abandoned, abused and homeless animals in the southwest suburbs. Anyone with ideas to share or an interest in learning more about helping are welcome. Refreshments will be served.

Volunteer information will be available by involvement in marketing, clerical, public relations, secretarial, financial, Board membership and fostering. An update on the future shelter building project will be presented.
