After her adventures at the 2004 convention, Ella is back for more adventures at the 2008 convention.

To get ready, she visited Civic Fest at the Minneapolis Convention Center.
She highly recommends it and it is open to anyone.
More details at http://www.civicfest.org

While there she was able to help Tori swear in the new President.

ELLA! Do you have any tips on how to get around at Civic Fest? At the RNC? Are there any great places to park so that you don't have to hoof it in 2 miles to the Xcel?

Civic Fest is free and easy to get to.
35W to Downtown exits.
Parking is easy too, I usually park at the lot behind the Minneapolis Convention Center on 3rd street.

CivicFest has just announced that there is FREE admission for the rest of the week to ALL CivicFest and Marketplace activities! For more information, go to www.CivicFest.org

As for the convention, there are lots near the X on 6th and 7th st.
But security will take a while.
Best seats are probably on the TV screens at Civic Fest :)
