Back to page topNo. Why does everyone think it's bad to have two good candidates running for the nomination? Am I the only one who remembers when the choice for a party's candidate was decided at the nominating convention? Instead of being huge expensive parties to celebrate the candidate, conventions used to be places where state delegates actually got to vote for the person they supported. It seems that after well over a full year of the current campaign, which most of us are really tired of, Democrats want to start campaigning against John McCain now. Wait until November. Give him more time to make mistakes and let the world situation get a bit worse. Then it will be easy to win no matter who is the candidate!
