The summer holiday is right around the corner. How will you spend July 4?

Friday, my friends and I are going to sit by a pool, play yard games and grill out, should be tons of fun. I'm hoping for something outside, maybe the Taste of Minnesota in St. Paul or Valleyfair in Shakopee. If it's not a nice day outside, I think we might go to the Titanic exhibit at the science museum. The night will close with fireworks somewhere.

When I was growing up, my family would pack a cooler and our wagon and go to a parade and carnival in Delano. It was so fun to jump for candy and fill a bucket of some sort with chocolate and gummy candy and any of the other fun things the parade participants would toss out. Fireworks were always close the holiday.
