That's a toss up question for me.
If I'm going to speak a phrase, it's usually "Merry Christmas." However, when I write it (like on cards or e-mails) during the season, I'll say "Happy Holidays" or "Season's Greetings."
I do that more because I want to have the phrase be applicable from Thanksgiving to New Year's, not so much a religious thing. I also like to have a variety of phrases to use.
I prefer the traditional "Merry Christmas." I am Catholic and have always said "Merry Christmas" as a greeting. Especially during the Christmas season which is by the way December 24 through January 6. (Contrary to what Retailers have led the general public to believe, the Christmas Holidays do not start the day after Thanksgiving and end the Day after Christmas Day.)
