I believe it failed because...
Back to page topI believe it failed because voters remember the last request for funding that did pass. However, instead of using the money as promised to reinstate classes that were taken away from both the jr and sr high schools along with other services that were cut, all day free kindergarden was introduced. Those other issues were never resolved leaving doubt in the minds of many of the voters. We all want whats best for our kids, as well we all get tired of the countless fundraisers, but at least when the fundraiser is done, we know where the money is going and what the money is going to be used for.
