I'm not a coffee drinker. Yuck, I can't stand the stuff.
But if you are, you'll be glad to know that Starbucks is getting ready to open up 40,000 new stores. Story http://today.reuters.com/news/articlenews.aspx?type=businessNews&storyid=2007-03-13T083829Z_01_L13594786_RTRUKOC_0_US-STARBUCKS-STORES.xml&src=rss&rpc=23
So are you a coffee drinker or not? If so, what is your favorite drink?

Hi, my name is Lori, and I'm...
Back to page topHi, my name is Lori, and I'm a coffee addict.
Actually, most of the time, I drink decaf, thanks to an inherited high blood pressure problem.
But I'm still an addict.
I can't function without that cup in my hand, especially at work. It's probably psychological, but I just HAVE to have it.
My absolute favorite is a mocha (skim, no whip - yeah, it's "healthier," but it still tastes great). Iced mochas are the best. I'm of the firm belief that there are few greater things in life than the combination of espresso and chocolate.
Give me a cup of Gevalia,...
Back to page topGive me a cup of Gevalia, and I'm a much more chipper person in the morning.
I've taken to bringing back caffeine from vacation, which is fun (if you're a coffee nerd). I've loaded up on coveted Kona coffee from Hawaii, for example.
Then again, I think part of drinking coffee has nothing to do with coffee itself. I like slowly waking up in the morning, or a quiet conversation with friends at a coffee shop.
Perhaps, it has more to do with a lifestyle choice than imported beans? (Although, I plan to continue my beans-around-the-world tour)
Kona is THE BEST coffee....
Back to page topKona is THE BEST coffee. It's also extremely expensive here. I think it's at least $50 a pound.
I brought back some Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee from Jamaica - that's also excellent. Again, it's not so cheap here in the States.
Save some change at Caribou...
Back to page topSave some change at Caribou Coffee - if you're a regular.
Step 1: register your Caribou Coffee card on the Web.
Step 2: pay for coffee with your card during visits through May 6th (qualifying purchases must be $1.35 or more and be two hours apart)
Step 3: visit 10 times, and you'll be reimbursed $4.

Good to know! I usually go...
Back to page topGood to know! I usually go to Starbucks because I prefer their espresso drinks, but I like Caribou's brewed coffee better.
I think I need help - I spent $4.37 on my cup of coffee today. I got a venti (extra large) iced latte, but I wanted an extra shot of espresso because it gets watered down otherwise. I don't think I can afford to spend more than $4 a day on coffee - that's as bad (financially) as a smoker's pack-a-day habit!!
As I write this, I am still...
Back to page topAs I write this, I am still sipping my morning coffee -- which, despite being in an insulated mug, is actually quite cold.
I don't know what kind of coffee it is but I know that it is a flavored coffee and that my husband smells like maple syrup after he grinds the beans. I am spoiled by the fact that my husband makes the coffee daily (I just can't seem to get the hang of it!) and has supplied me with a Caribou gift card for those mornings when he is out of town overnight on business trips.
I also realize that nursing the same old cup of coffee all day has officially turned me into my mother, who used to drive me crazy with her endless -- and often cold -- cup of coffee that she carted about all day long.
