Inattentive driving is everywhere. People talking on their phones, text messaging, eating breakfast, shaving, applying makeup and reading the newspaper while operating a motor vehicle.
What is the scariest thing you have seen others drivers doing while driving?

A guy shaving, people...

My father in law is 80 and...
Back to page topMy father in law is 80 and he still drives. As far as I know he's accident free, but he scared me when he used to drive and I was the passenger. (This was when I first met him).
Sometimes, he just pulls out into traffic. I'm not sure he looks either way, so my guess is he's thinking, "I'm 80. I'm going - like it or not. I don't care who is my way."
I'm thinking (with one eye open). "Man, I hope there are no Hummers flying by."
Notice I said "he used to drive." Not when I'm around. He's the passenger now. I'm drive and he's fine with that, so is my wife, his wife and everyone else on the road.
