Back to page topIs eel considered wild game? I love eel and most fish, although I think fishing is a big waste of time.
I've tried pigs feet and it wasn't so tasty. I've had tripe, which is the stomach lining of an animal. It's not bad.
My favorite has to be an Indian dish called Lamb Sagwala. It's served with a milde spinach sauce and is very tasty.

Back to page topHaving grown up with a father who was a taxidermist, there wasn't much that didn't get served at our table -- and I can't say that I was a fan of much of it (I became a connoisseur of macaroni and cheese, the alternative entree to whatever was being served).
I know my mom was featured in a newspaper article (with pictures and recipes) for her venison preparations when my now 45-year-old brother was just a toddler (he was in the picture) but I don’t remember any of the recipes being to my liking.
These days, I stick to store-bought beef, chicken, turkey, pork and seafood and leave the exotic creatures to braver souls!
