Tomorrow is the day Kevin Burkart will jump 100 times out of a perfectly good airplane.
He’s doing it for a good cause- to raise money for Parkinson’s disease, a disease his father is living with.
I called Kevin today and asked him about the weather. It looks kinda crummy. He’s still planning full speed ahead. He said the rain and bad weather shouldn’t come till evening and he plans to start jumping at 6 a.m. and he should be done by the time the storm rolls in.
To get more details on the jump and on Kevin and his dad, Gary, check out the original story: http://www.savagepacer.com/news/general-news/local-man-takes-jump-parkinson-s-5666. And check out Kevin’s Web page www.perfectjumps.com. I think there’s still time to donate or dedicate a jump to someone.

A couple years a go, a friend and I decided the rain wasn't going to stop us, and against the suggestion of our jumping partners, we took the plunge.
That was the most annoyingly painful five minutes of my life. I wish I had video of that, but there was no way of talking the videographer into jumping in the rain with us, we tried.
Anyways, you go Kevin.
