 <description>The Dan Patch Historical Society is selling 2008 Dan Patch Days commemorative buttons for $3 each. When a button is purchased, the buyer also registers to win one of several prizes in the Dan Patch Days Button Raffle. The grand prize is an Intarsia, or wood inlay sculpture, depicting the 2008 Dan Patch button. The Intarsia is being created by local artist Jim Ryan and is valued at more than $400. Second prize is full-color Savage historical blanket valued at $50.  Registered button holders can win $100 if they find the horseshoe in the Annual Dan Patch Historical Society Horseshoe Hunt. The four-week contest leading up to Dan Patch Days. Buttons can be purchased at the Dan Patch Historical Society Web site (www.danpatch.com) and at Razor’s Edge Barber Shop, Savage Public Library, Marketplace Liquor, Dan Patch American Legion and Dan Patch Liquor. And buttons will be on sale during Dan Patch’s birthday party on Saturday, May 3 at the DP Coffee Depot. </description>
