The feast is always great when you are surrounded by family and friends. We were in North Carolina visiting our daughter-in-law while our son was deployed to Afghanistan. Although we missed him very much, we felt closer to him by being in his beautiful new home, cooking up dinner with his lovely wife and playing with their two dogs, Gracie and Sylvie. It was a Norman Rockwell holiday for us!

Now that Thanksgiving has passed, what lived up to your tastebud’s dreams and what, if anything, fell short? How was the company? Anyone too loud or fighting over who got to pull the wishbone?

For me and my multiple celebrations (friends, mom mom’s, boyfriend’s mom’s, and my dad’s) they were all great.
