I watched some of it. I've never seen an episode of Star Wars though, so I didn't watch much.

Or should I say: much I did not watch.

Ding-dong ditch, as annoying

Ding-dong ditch, as annoying as this little game is as an adult, it was a popular (and amusing) game as a child.
And yes, I was pretty good, as I never got caught.

We did this thing where a group of about 5 of us would line our bike up in the middle of the (lightly-traveled) road and play bike dominos. That was after we would take one more step each into "the haunted house" about a mile out of town. Oh yeah, pretty cool.
At night we'd play kick the can or some other games I can't remember the name of.
We did a whole lotta hoopin' too.

We spent a lot of time

We spent a lot of time outdoors as children (my mom had a habit of unplugging the TV and telling us it was broken, then sending us outside).

During the summer, there was a lot of hide-and-seek, bike riding and shooting baskets.

Winter meant snow forts and snowmen and snowball fights and ... you get the picture.

As a child nerd, however, one of my favorite pastimes was cleaning out kitchen cupboards -- I liked to take all of the canned goods out, organize them into categories, then line them up like a grocery store shelf. My Aunt Mary loved it when I came to visit.

Tap dancing was my favorite

Tap dancing was my favorite hobby as a kid. It was probably a good study in coordination, posture, etc., but I don't find a reason to breakout the tap-dance moves too often.
I wish I would have spent more time learning an instrument; that would have been more of a lifelong pursuit.
Although, my dance training did give me a huge appreciation for the arts. I am a regular at the Northrop Dance Series events, which are a HUGE bargain to see high-quality, touring dance companies.
Yeah, I think Alex Smith is

Yeah, I think Alex Smith is working towards putting himself on this list.
Here are a couple I would think should make the list, as well:
Bobby Garrett drafted by your Browns, Tom, in the 1954 draft. He played one season.
Bob Fenimore drafted by the Bears in 1947 also played one season.
Corbett Davis drafted by the Cleveland Rams in 1938 never played a game.
Jay Berwanger was drafted by the Eagles in 1936 never played a game.
I think teams would probably like to get at least one season out of a No. 1 pick.

I'm surprised one of the Simpson sisters (Jessica or Ashley) didn't make it onto this list. I guess Jessica is tolerable when she doesn't over sing songs; Ashley is tolerable when she keeps her tape deck in sync and mouths the words.

And they play fast, upbeat music that keeps people moving to get them out quicker (at least that's how it was when I worked a Burger King many years ago).

I think I read that they construct the seating there to be a bit uncomfortable, too, so people don't overstay their welcome. I'm scared of the clown, so I don't ever stay long anyway... (kidding).

I guess they haven't heard of a pitch count rule in Japan. That is obnoxious and another fine example of why youth sports is receiving such a bad rap these days. The adults overseeing the situation should have known better. Shame on them!

Agreed. I bet this kid couldn't lift his arm over his head for a week.
Seriously, keeping a kid in the game to boost some confidence is rarely a bad idea, but 250 pitches shouldn't be thrown by one child in two games, let alone two innings!
I have to give it to this kid.
After giving up 26 runs in the first inning, I think I would've faked an injury to get to the bench.
