Obama on Ayers: "He is just

Obama on Ayers: "He is just a guy who lives in my neighborhood." True or false? False. As you will see in the following campaign video, Obama and Ayers worked closely together. Obama started a campaign for office in Ayers' living room and he calls him just a "guy who lives in my neighborhood"?!?

The issues in this case for the American people to judge are as follows: who you choose to associate with matters and; whether you own up to past associations that are troubling matters.

Obama chose to associate with an unapologetic former terrorist. He does not admit to this association nor does he apologize for it. McCain on the other hand admits he made a mistake early in his political career relative to the "Keating 5" scandal. He admits he made a mistake when he divorced his first wife. He owns up to his mistakes rather than trying to dodge or dismiss them.

Watch the video and then check the facts. The claims made in this video are factual.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ONfJ7YSXE5w

Obama campaign, truth

Obama campaign, truth tellers?

Senator Biden was loose with the facts last week. Listen carefully during the debate tonight and check the facts later. As the article in the Wall Street Journal below shows, the truth was not entirely present in what we heard last week from Mr. Biden.

Obama the indoctrinator and

Obama the indoctrinator and friend of Pentagon bomber

Obama has close ties with Bill Ayers and together, they have worked to indoctrinate our children with a left wing political activist mentality. Who is Bill Ayers? Ayers was a founder of an organization called "Weather Underground" in the 1960s. Read the following article from todays Wall Street Journal for more details but here is a quote from the article.

"Among other feats, Mr. Ayers and his cohorts bombed the Pentagon, and he has never expressed regret for his actions. Barack Obama's first run for the Illinois State Senate was launched at a 1995 gathering at Mr. Ayers's home."

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB122212856075765367.html

This is the kind of change we DON'T need!

The incredible shrinking Joe

The incredible shrinking Joe Biden.

Based on the general left-leaning tilt of most mainstream media, I'm not surprised you are having trouble finding media coverage of Joe Biden. He has been a shill for the left for years in the US Senate and is only a few notches behind Obama in terms of his liberal voting record. In other words, it's easy to tune him out because he is a carbon copy of Obama in terms of his message.

Palin on the other hand is a fresh, bold, reform-minded, ground-breaking choice by McCain so it makes sense that she is getting a lot of media coverage. Also, (remember the left-leaning tilt), the mainstream media is outraged that the Republicans are going to beat the Democrats to the punch when it comes to electing a woman to either President or Vice President so they are doing their best to prevent it from happening.

In the name of fairness however, you raise a great point. If ABC wants to be "fair and balanced" like their competition at FOX, they really should put Biden under the white hot lights and try to trap him in a question like they did Palin. By the way, there is no one "Bush Doctrine". The meaning of it has changed about ever 2 years during the GW Bush Presidency. Check it out on Wikipedia for yourself.

Don't hold your breath, however, for that Gibson interview with Biden. If he does interview him, count on it being a love-fest. Remember, ABC is the same network that gave us Peter Jennings (may he rest in peace), who scolded us Americans for voting the Republicans in to power in Congress in 1994. ABC = front for the DNC.

Thanks Savage Guy for the resources on Joe Biden, but I'm an old-fashioned gal, I like to get my news from a newspaper and from network TV. Alas, I have been on the lookout for a good network news anchor ever since Tom Brokaw left (who replaced Walter Cronkite and the Huntley/Brinkley duo) in my ink-stained heart. Out of the 3 network choices, I've been leaning towards Charlie at ABC, but I'm not too sure anymore. And don't get me started on George "Snuffalufagus" (as I like to call him). He sure shows his feelings when he gives his report, but I guess that's what political analysists are supposed to do? I'm not ready to turn to FOX as you suggest and am not completely trusting of the You Tube reporting generation. I guess I'm just going to have to turn off the TV!

Obama on the Iraq war: one soldier's response.

Obama and the Hollywood

Obama and the Hollywood liberal elite

You almost don't get any more liberal than the Hollywood liberal elite including Streisand, and here is an article about Obama raising money and hanging out with this crowd. It just further enforces how far out of touch he is with the American people. The Academy Awards have become a platform for the far left wing of the Democratic party (see DiCaprio loving on Gore a couple years ago, practically begging him to run for President) and they perenially pick best picture nominees that almost no one sees because the movies are so far out of touch with common American values and what Americans like to watch. Thus, the People's Choice Awards! Anyway, read all about Obama hanging out with his left wing pals in the following article.

http://elections.foxnews.com/2008/09/16/obama-hollywood/

Youtube to the rescue. Nancy, check out the following link for a treasure trove of Joe Biden video. It is a bit more balanced than what you'll get on ABC in the sense that some of the videos are posted by DNC operatives and some by RNC operatives. In any event, check it out.

I'm having trouble finding

I'm having trouble finding media coverage of Democratic VP candidate Joe Biden's campaign stops. You seem to have the inside track on these things, Savage Guy. Do you know where one might find stories about what he's saying at his campaign stops? As well, do you know if ABC's Charlie Gibson is planning a trip to Pennsylvania to do an in-depth, 2-day interview with the Democratic pick for VP? Seems like that would only be the fair thing to do in their "50 States in 50 Days" media blitz about the presidential campaign. Seems like they covered Alaska pretty well with the interview with Republican VP Candidate Sarah Palin.

You do realize that you can create a new blog entry instead of adding comments to an old entry.
The Pacer sight doesn't handle redirects to more than one page and eventually i fyou keep adding comments, I think you will break the software here.
If you want you items read, I would suggest adding them as a new entry.

Why liberal feminists hate

Why liberal feminists hate Sarah Palin.

Excellent piece in the WSJ today by a pro-choice feminist talking about why liberal feminists hate Sarah Palin who is a conservative feminist.

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB122143727571134335.html?mod=opinion_main...

It illustrates again that we are talking about a choice between two world views when we choose our President. McCain is for shrinking government, Obama is for expansion of government, McCain is for protecting the lives of the unborn, Obama is for allowing the continuing slaughter of the unborn and is not willing to answer directly the question of when life begins.

The choice of Palin as the VP candidate has stirred or re-stirred a great debate in this country over the role of women, the sanctity of life, and the difference between reform and giving speeches. Kudos to McCain for having the guts to choose Palin. Obama had the same chance (i.e. picking a woman as VP candidate) and shrank from such a reform-minded move by picking a Senator who is only a couple notches below him in the ratings of who are the most liberal Senators in the US Senate.

The Democrats have sold themselves as the party that creates more opportunities for women. Now a Republican woman has a legitimate shot at being the first female VP in the USA. Once again, the true reformers are the Republicans.

The question is, who will be able to sustain to the end? Already the gloves are off ... I saw a headline on MSN that Obama was accusing McCain of "lies." Everyday there are new polls saying this and that. It's tough to sort out. Does anyone want to comment about what characteristics you look for to set one candidate apart from another?

As the polls show (click on link below), the McCain/Palin ticket has received a significant bump since Palin was announced as the VP candidate and since the Republican convention. As such, the media is paying attention.

http://www.pollingreport.com/wh08gen.htm

More women voters are saying they will vote for McCain now that Palin is the VP candidate. The Democrats talk a good game when it comes to breaking the glass ceiling, but it will be the Republicans who will do the shattering.
