I am now convinced that there needs to be a mandatory test to determine if you can have a child. Everyone, please be aware of your surroundings, thank god for that random customer that noticed this child in the car. We, as adults (that have a little common sense), need to protect the innocent little ones that can't do it for themselves. This could have been a tragedy.

I am familiar with this "hit and run crash" and I have to say, there must not be anything better to do in Savage than to drag up year-old stories about drunk kids hitting trees. You really ought to be ashamed, there are serious issues in the world and this is your idea of "news". Exaggerating the injuries does not make this a story. So did the tree suffer injuries as well? Ms. Maddox- I hope your past mistakes make it into next weeks paper so we can again shake our heads and be reminded that you are imperfect.
