To help those who care for someone with Alzheimer’s, McKenna Crossing is hosting a Alzheimer’s Association of Minnesota-North Dakota informational and support group. The caregiver group will be meeting once a month. The first meeting will be held 7 pm., Tuesday, Feb. 5 in the community room at McKenna Crossing. Start: 3:41 pm

The Dan Patch American Legion Post #643, 12375 Princeton Ave., in downtown Savage, is celebrating Mardi Gras on Saturday, Feb. 2 and Sunday, Feb. 3. On Saturday, a Mardi Gras king and queen will be crowned after Bargo and special music will be provided. On Sunday, there will be an indoor and outdoor parade that includes throwing beads. All-you-can eat Jambalaya will be served for a $1 donation.
