The MOMS Club (MOMS Offering Moms Support) – North, a national support group for mothers, will meet Thursday, Feb. 7 at 9:30 a.m.The organization provides support to working and stay-at-home moms. Carver Scott Humane Society volunteers will have a pet adoption Saturday, Feb. 16 from noon to 3 p.m. at Petco, located off of Singletree Lane, between Prairie Center Drive and Higway 212. CSHS is without its own building and all pets are housed in foster care. All cats and dogs have been micro ID implanted, vet checked, wormed, had shots updated, checked for friendly temperaments, and age appropriately spayed/neutered.

The fourth annual Prior Lake-Savage Hockey Association “Skate the Lake” event at runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17 at Captain Jack’s on Prior Lake.The association’s volunteer “Zammers” will prep the ice for skating on a 1½-mile loop around the lake.

The Prior Lake Sportsmen's Club will have its annual ice fishing contest on Prior Lake on Sunday, Feb. 17 from 1 to 3 p.m. The cash prizes for fish caught will be: $75 for first, $50 for second and $25 for third. In addition, there will be grand prize drawings from $300, $200, and $100. The winner need not be present to win the grand prizes.

The Church of St. Michael Catholic Aid Council is sponsoring an all-you-can-eat fish fry from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 29, in the lower level of Archangels Hall at the church, 16311 Duluth Avenue, in Prior Lake.The menu includes lightly-breaded Alaskan Pollock, macaroni and cheese, potato wedges, coleslaw, green beans, corn, homemade rolls, coffee, milk, and dessert. To-go orders will be available.

The Girl Scouts of Prior Lake and Savage will be selling cookies at Hollywood Video in Savage each Friday and Saturday until March 29.

The Prior Lake Players are set to perform “A Chorus Line” at Twin Oaks Middle School, 15860 Fish Point Road from Feb. 29 through March 15.

Show times for the spring musical are 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 29 and March 1, March 7-8 and March 14-15. There will also be two Sunday matinees at 2 p.m. on March 2 and March 9.
