The ninth annual Prior Lake Hooksetters Kids Crappie Tournament will take place on Prior Lake on Sunday, April 27. Registration and a Casting Kids competition will be from 7 to 9 a.m. at Captain Jacks on Prior Lake. The tournament starts 9 a.m. with weigh-in at Captain Jacks at 2 p.m. A free kids raffle and an adult raffle will be held during and after weigh-in. Cash prizes for the top places, plus cash and a trophy for the biggest fish. Entry fee is $25 per boat. Minnows will be provided at no cost for all tournament entrants. Local host families and interested host families from Savage, Shakopee, Jordan, Prior Lake, Burnsville and Lakeville will meet Sunday, April 27 at Cliff Fen Park in Burnsville from 2 to 4 p.m.
