The ninth annual Prior Lake Hooksetters Kids Crappie Tournament will take place on Prior Lake on Sunday, April 27. Prior Lake High School art teacher Steve Showalter and pottery students will host a pottery sale on the second floor bridge at Prior Lake High School, 7575 150th St., Savage from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 29.

The third annual omelet and pancake breakfast breast cancer fundraiser will take place Sunday, May 4 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Savage American Legion, 12375 Princeton Ave., downtown Savage. Amy Munsinger, a three and a half year survivor of breast cancer and Legion employee is hosting the event. In conjunction with the breakfast there will also be a bake sale and a silent auc-tion. Donations for the breakfast are $10 for adults and $5 for children 10 and under. All proceeds will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and Fairview Southdale Oncology Clinic.
