Prior Lake High School art teacher Steve Showalter and pottery students will host a pottery sale on the second floor bridge at Prior Lake High School, 7575 150th St., Savage from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 29.

Volunteers from the Carver Scott Humane Society will have a pet adoption Saturday, May 3 from noon to 3 p.m. at Petco, 8020 Glen Lane, in Eden Prairie. Dogs 9 weeks to 9 years will be there and include: lab mix puppies, Shih Tzu, setter, pointer, shepherd mix, pointer, Chihuahua, Rottweiler mix, retriever mix, husky, Lhasa Apso, and Heinz 57 mixes.
