The April issue of the City News newsletter contained inaccurate information regarding collection of electronics by the Scott County Household Hazardous Waste Facility in Jordan. A fee is charged for electronics disposed at the site. The City of Savage apologizes for any inconvenience this misinformation may have caused. For details on electronics recycling at the Household Hazardous Waste Facility, please call 496-8692 or visit the Scott County website at www.co.scott.mn.us.

Prior Lake High School students will display their artwork at the high school, 7575 150th St., Savage, from 7:20 a.m. to 2:10 p.m. Thursday, May 15 and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, May 16 and Saturday, May 17.

Students in the introduction to art, drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography, and graphic design and pottery classes will display their art.

Prior Lake High School art teacher Steve Showalter and pottery students will host a pottery sale on the second floor bridge at Prior Lake High School, 7575 150th St., Savage from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 29.

The third annual omelet and pancake breakfast breast cancer fundraiser will take place Sunday, May 4 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Savage American Legion, 12375 Princeton Ave., downtown Savage. Amy Munsinger, a three and a half year survivor of breast cancer and Legion employee is hosting the event. In conjunction with the breakfast there will also be a bake sale and a silent auc-tion. Donations for the breakfast are $10 for adults and $5 for children 10 and under. All proceeds will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and Fairview Southdale Oncology Clinic.
