Pawsitive Perspectives Assistance Dogs Inc. (PawPADs), headquartered in Savage, strives to enrich the lives of people with disabilities by providing highly trained service dogs, which will enable individuals to lead more independent lives.

A new litter of seven rescued Labrador puppies, whose owners were threatening to drown them at a mere one week old, were recently donated to PawPADs. They are now healthy, energetic, are busy getting used to their new surroundings, and have already started basic training. Check them out by logging onto the PawPADs website at www.pawpads.org.

PawPADs is a member of GiveMN, which simplifies the contribution process of your tax-deductible donation. GiveMN is sponsoring Give to the Max Day Tuesday, Nov. 17. GiveMN has a matching fund of $500,000 for Give to the Max Day and will match any donations made through the GiveMN.org Web site.

All financial donations assist PawPADs in covering overhead costs, purchasing food and vet services, and assisting in operating and expanding their programs. PawPADs is a 501c3 charitable organization and all contributions are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowable by law.
