“Lifting our Hearts to Share, an afternoon with tenor and flute” is a recital to benefit the Southern Valley Alliance for Battered Women and takes place at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 19 at St. Victoria Catholic Church, 8228 Victoria Drive Victoria.

Featured musicians will be: Jamie Moore, tenor; Peggy Doerrie, flute; Sharon Schindler, piano; and Dawn Baker, piano. Musical selections will include: tenor and flute selections from Mozart's "Die Zauberflote" (The Magic Flute) as well as Donizetti's "L'elisir D'amore" (Elixir of Love) and a mix of contemporary and traditional sacred reflections for tenor voice, plus flute favorites by Burton, Mouquet, Muczynski and Schocker.
