As the adults gathered in the living room at the newly-finished home on Hampshire Avenue, children’s laughter filtered in amongst the hum of the conversations.
Ira and Francie Pankratz of Hallock, Minn., announce the birth of their daughter, Aubree McKaya Pankratz, who was born Nov. 6, 2008 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, N.D.
She weighed 7 pounds 15.7 ounces and was 21 inches long.

The possibility of a performing arts magnet school in the Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District may have walked away, literally.
At Thursday night’s (Nov. 20) meeting, Vice Chairman Ron Hill and Board Member Nancy Banyard both left the table when a motion they didn’t agree with was presented. With them, they took a quorum.
