The Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School Board has pared the list of superintendent candidates from five to three.

The remaining candidates are Joe Silko, Barbara Pulliam and Randy Clegg.

Silko is the current superintendent of Grand Rapids School District 318 in Grand Rapids, Minn., and is also a semi-finalist in neighboring Prior Lake-Savage Area School District’s superintendent search.

 Pulliam is currently an associate professor at the University of Georgia and from 1997 to 2007 gained superintendent experience two districts, in St. Louis Park, Minn. and Clayton County Public School District in Georgia.

Clegg is the current leader of Clinton Community School District in Clinton, Iowa, a position he has held for 12 years.

The board plans to do final-round interviews March 31 and April 1 and 2. They plan to announce the new superintended at their school board meeting on April 17.
