The Savage City Council will meet Monday, Sept. 8 at 7 p.m. in council chambers at city hall, 6000 McColl Drive.

The tentative agenda is as follows:

Call to order/roll call/Pledge of Allegiance

Presentations, proclamations, awards, suggestions, petitions, complaints and unscheduled matters — from council members and citizens

Note: Comments limited to five minutes per person. Longer presentations must be scheduled through the city clerk.Additions, deletions and modifications to the agenda

A. Authorize the appropriate city officials to prepare a budget amendment to finance the installation of a city monument sign at the Southeast corner of CR 42/TH 13

B. Review and approve 2009 City of Savage operating budget and levy

1. Adopt a resolution adopting proposed City of Savage General Fund Budget for calendar year 2009

2. Adopt a resolution to levy proposed property tax for year 2008, collectible in 2009

C. Review ordinance amending sections of the Savage Zoning Ordinance and City Code

1. Pass ordinance amending sections of Title 9, Chapter 4, Section 10 Accessory Uses and Structures, Title 9, Chapter 5, Section 3 Use Standards, and adding Title 9, Chapter 4, Section 20 Wind Energy Conversion Systems (WECS) to the Savage Zoning Ordinance and adding Title 7, Chapter 9 Sidewalk Cafes to the Savage City Code

D. Consider a resolution ordering the preparation of a feasibility study, approve a consultant agreement and authorize eminent domain proceedings for the Dakota Avenue/McQuiston Court Street and Utility Improvement Project, City Project No. 07-20

E. Consider preliminary development plan for Dan Patch Trail, a 111-lot residential subdivision proposed at 126th Street and Lynn Avenue

1. Pass an ordinance amending Savage Zoning Ordinance, Rezone of Dan Patch Trail

2. Adopt a resolution approving preliminary plat, Dan Patch Trail
