City workers Jay Lair and Rick Klehr were part of a three-man crew working to renovate the horseshoe pits at Warren Butler Park last week. The winner will take on the winner of top-seeded St. Paul Harding and 16th-seeded Minneapolis Roosevelt in the quarterfinals, which directly follows first-round action. The state semifinals and title match will be held at Burnsville High School on Wednesday, May 14.
