What’s Dan Patch Days without a Sunday afternoon parade?
It’s still Dan Patch Days, according to the festival organizers, who announced this week that the parade will be cancelled this year due to planned road construction in the area. The bottleneck will be caused by construction of the roundabout at County Road 16 and Lynn Avenue, which is one of the main arteries into the downtown area.
