Christopher David Kleven

Christopher Kleven, 44, of Prior Lake, passed away Saturday, Aug. 30, 2008 as a result of a fatal auto accident in Gillette, Wyo.

He was born Dec. 1, 1963 in Minneapolis to David and Barbara (Hanson) Kleven. Christopher married Jeannine Ann Jarvis on June 7, 1986 at the Knox Presbyterian Church in Minneapolis.

Loved and forever missed by wife, Jeannine; children, Joshua, Matthew, Joseph, Nathan, Alicen; brothers, Jon (Lisa) Kleven, Andy (Kirsten) Kleven; many relatives and friends. Chris was preceded in death by his parents.

Chris was a member of Union I.B.E.W. 292. He was a strong supporter of the P.L.A.Y. LaCrosse and the PL/Savage Hockey Association. He enjoyed golf, hunting and fishing.

Visitation was Thursday, Sept. 4, from 4-7 p.m. and one hour prior to the celebration of life service on Friday, Sept. 5, at 11 a.m., all at Transfiguration Lutheran Church, Bloomington, Interment will be at Spring Lake Cemetery, Prior Lake. Pallbearers were Tim Jarvis, Brian Jarvis, Jon Kleven, Mike Pederson, Jim Wilson, Don Hanson. In lieu of flowers memorial are preferred.

Mary Lou O’Brien

Mary Lou O’Brien, 68, of Savage, died Thursday, Aug. 28, 2008 at Abbott–Northwestern Hospital, Minneapolis.Mary Lou O'BrienMary Lou O'Brien

She was born in Waseca, Minn. on May 1, 1940 to Leon and Irene (Kraske) Munsch. She married Don O’Brien on Feb. 9, 1959 in Waldorf, Minn. Mary Lou was a retired employee of D and G Packaging.

She is survived by husband, Don; sons, Todd of Savage and Jeff of Moorhead; sister, Darlene (Ray) Gomsrud of Janesville. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation was Monday, Sept. 1, one hour prior to the Mass at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Savage. Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11 a.m. on Monday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, with the Rev. Michael Tix officiating. Pallbearers were Shane and Shawn McDonough, John, Jim, Steve and Casey O’Brien. Interment at St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Burnsville.

Landon Gregory Lind

Landon Gregory Lind, son of Kim Lee and Gregory Lind was born Oct. 5, 1989 in Robbinsdale, Minn. Landon grew up in Bloomington and attended John F. Kennedy High School, graduating in 2008. He was a Cub Scout, loved to play basketball and socialize. He had planned on joining the Marines or going to school for law enforcement. Landon will be remembered for his larger-than-life personality, having a good heart and dreaming of his future goals.

He is survived by siblings; Dillon Lee, Bloomington, Anika Lind and Darby Lind, Savage; mother, Kimberly Lee (stepfather, Lance), Bloomington; father, Gregory Lind (Sharon), Savage; many other extended family and special friends. Landon was preceded in death by several grandparents.

Mass of Christian Burial is Saturday, Sept. 6, at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Nativity of Mary, 9900 Lyndale Avenue South. Visitation is Friday, Sept. 5, from 5-8 p.m. at Gill Brothers Funeral Home and one hour prior to Mass at church. Interment at Bloomington Cemetery.
