The National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS) announced Winona State University student and Savage native, Kaitlin Corrigan, won the 2009 NSCS Holiday Card contest. The card featuring her design will be sent to NSCS partners and vendors.
Corrigan is a graphic design major and won over 50 percent of the votes cast by NSCS members.
"Kaitlin's card truly represents the spirit of the holidays," NSCS' Executive Director Stephen E. Loflin said.
Corrigan focused on placement, color, when creating the card.
“I wanted to capture NSCS's idea of Integrity and all the things that go into it. I used words like community, leadership, services, careers, achievement, and so on to convey that message."
