Air Force Airman 1st Class William J. Jordan, of Prior Lake, has deployed to Southwest Asia in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and/or Operation Enduring Freedom. Jordan is a KC-10 aircraft flying crew chief with two years of military service and assigned to the 605th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, McGuire Air Force Base, N.J.

Mission objectives focus on force protection, peacekeeping, stabilization, security and counter-insurgency operations.

He is the son of Donald J. and Jolene F. Jordan of Prior Lake, and brother of Jenny J. Knox, of Belle Plaine. The airman is a 2007 graduate of Prior Lake High School.
