Burnsville native Patrick Martin, a member of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire forensics team, placed third in informative, impromptu and extemporaneous speaking, qualifying for National Forensic Association in each event at a recent tournament at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter forensics team.The team placed first overall at the Gustavus tourney.

Martin placed fifth in informative speaking at a Mid-American Forensics tournament hosted at UW-EC. The forensics team placed third overall at the tournament.
