Volunteers from the Carver Scott Humane Society will have a pet adoption March 1 from noon to 3 p.m. at Petco, located on Singletree Lane, between Prairie Center Drive and Highway 212 in Eden Prairie. CSHS is without its own building and all pets are housed in foster care.

Dogs 12 weeks to 9 years will be there. Some of the dogs include: papillon and shepherd mix puppy, terrier, boxer, pointer, Chihuahua, yellow and black labs, hound, retriever mix, husky, Bishon Frise, and Heinz 57 mixes.

Two rabbits, 24+ kittens, and 36 cats ages 14 weeks to 8 years old will be available. There will be Persian kittens, solids, tabby, bicolored, calico, tuxedo, torties, and one declawed Himalayan.

All cats and dogs have been micro ID implanted, vet checked, wormed, had shots updated, checked for friendly temperaments, and age appropriately spayed/neutered. Adoption fees are $115+ for cats and $175+ for dogs.
