Prior Lake-Savage Area Community Education Services and Burnsville-Eagan-Savage Community Education will co-sponsor two events that feature Pam Smieja, a domestic abuse survivor, speaking about her experiences.

Smieja will present “Life After Abuse: Regaining Your Dignity and Self-Confidence” at 6:30 p.m. Monday, March 15, at Prior Lake High School, 7575 W. 150th St., Savage. This seminar will focus on building self-confidence and applying lessons from abuse in positive ways.

At 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 17 at Prior Lake-Savage Area District Services Center, 4540 Tower St., S.E., Prior Lake, Smieja will present “Do You Know Someone Being Abused? Learn How to Talk to Them Without Pushing Them Away.” The event will focus on ways to address loved ones who are victims of abuse.

Admission is $19.
