Four commencement ceremonies will take place during the first week of June in Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191 with just over 800 students receiving diplomas.
About 75 students will receive diplomas during a graduation ceremony for Cedar Alternative High School at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 3, at Grand Market Square in Burnsville, 12750 Nicollet Ave. S. in Burnsville.
The graduation for nine students in the BEST program will be 6 p.m. Monday, June 2, in the Senior Campus Commons at Diamondhead Education Center, 200 W. Burnsville Parkway.
Commencement for eight students at Vale Education Center, 2144 Diffley Road, in Eagan, will take place at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, June 4.
At Burnsville High School, 600 E. Hwy 13, in Burnsville, a total of 720 seniors will receive diplomas during the commencement ceremony at 6 p.m. on Friday, June 6. Depending on the weather, the ceremony will either take place in Pates Stadium next to the high school or inside the gym. A decision will be made by 4 p.m. that day and posted on the district Web site at www.isd191.org.
