Local school districts won’t be begging or stealing, but some will have to borrow in order to cope with delayed state aid payments that were announced this week.
Shakopee High School’s graduation is months away but planning for the senior all-night party started months ago and help is needed from parents of sophomores, juniors and seniors.
Decoration painting is every Monday and Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Shakopee Junior High School, 200 E. 10th Ave., Shakopee.
Cargill will award $350,000 in scholarships to high school seniors who live in communities where Cargill has operations, including Savage, and plan to enroll in a post-secondary education institution next fall.
The drama department at Shakopee High School will tell the real story of “The Princess and the Pea” in its fall musical, “Once Upon A Mattress,” Nov. 13, 15 and 20-22.

Berg is also involved in Rotary and Alpha Human Services.
