The Academy of Holy Angels announced the names of the students who earned academic honors during the third trimester of the 2008-09 school year. Students who maintain a 4.0 grade point average or above are named as a scholar of distinction; students who achieve a 3.6667 or above earn high honors; and students who maintain a grade point average of 3.2 receive honors.

Students from Savage include: Rachel Adam, Mackenzie Paulson and Chelsea Pettit, were all named as scholars of distinction; Heidi Pettit, Shannon Beckel, Scott Hegg, Joshua Holt, Dominique Pavlow, Nolan Radziej, Anna Schaefer, Amy Scislow and Chloe Walbruch were named to the high honor roll; named to the honor roll were Alexander Andrzejek, Jeremy Bernardy, Alex Brodjeski, Kathryn Cleary, Anthony Emanuel, Brittney Hegg, Adam Jessen, Rachael Lenhart, Crystal Maqsudi, Nicole Ross, Alec Sunder and Calli Tosney.

Prior Lake students named to the list include: Ryan DeMuse, Craig Fisher, Matthew Hill, Natalie Rethlake and Hannah Shea as scholars of distinction; to the high honor roll were Cole Frechette, Taylor Hill, Hilary Malecha, Michael Pokorny, Sarah Rodriguez and Sarah Ulmer; Lindsay Brown, Alexandra Carlson, Emily Ciabattoni, Tyler Craig, Rachel Friske, Merritt Rethlake, Ryan Rodriguez and Amanda Ulmer earned a spot on the honor roll.

Burnsville students include: Katherine Budin, Nicholas Elfering, Jenna Gruenwald, Chris Hinh, Sam Hinh, Morgan Hoeft, Grace Orstad, Kayla Roberge and Hunter Sager are scholars of distinction; Philip Behringer, Shannon Corrigan, Erika Frear, Samuel Girouard, Claire Girouard, Steven Kukla, Evan McNeil, Kristin Miller, Sarah Ober, Paul Orstad, Cory Plinck, Matthew Schmidt, Erin Sislo, Davis Srimaneekulroj and Jordan Tuff earned a spot on the high honors list; Chelsea Behnke, Meg Boerner, Lisa Cameron, Luke Elfering, Joshua Fox, Mitchel Gavino, Ellyn Kuehne, Megan Lahti, Denny McMahon, Jamie Miller, Nicholas Miller, Hannah Morris, Kelly O’Halloran, Katherine O’Halloran, Taylor O'Neill, Joshua Renner, Jeremy Roberge, Jennifer Ryan, Catherine Shea, Derek Steele, Hayden Stuppnig, Fabian Trejo, William Warmka, Courtney Weber, Benjamin Williams and Kristin Wittenkeller were named to the honor roll.
