The Blaze Booster Club is holding its First Annual Cake Auction on Friday, Feb. 23, beginning at 4:30 p.m. in the Burnsville Senior High School gym.

Cake donations can be dropped off at the front entrance to the gym before 3:30 p.m. on Friday.

Local businesses are encouraged to have a cake made for the auction that will serve as an advertisement for the business. Those unable to donate a cake are asked to send a representative to bid on the cakes during half time or between games.

Another portion of the event is a silent auction to be held in the gym foyer. Groups and individuals from the Burnsville community, elementary, junior high and high schools are asked to make cakes for this part of the evening. Cakes will be displayed in the gym foyer with a bidding sheet in front of them. During half time of the Varsity game, the bidding will be closed, with the cake going to the highest bidder.
