Two gardening classes will be offered by Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191 Adult Continuing Education.

Shade Gardening meets Tuesday, May 1 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Burnsville Senior High School, 600 E. Hwy. 13, Burnsville.

The cost is $19 each or $29 per pair. Participants will gain inspiration and techniques on how to effectively plant and maintain shade plants. They will discover an extensive list of new and old annuals, perennials, ground covers and shrubs that can be combined in exciting and beautiful ways for shady places.

Annuals meets Thursday, May 3 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Burnsville Senior High School, 600 E. Hwy. 13, Burnsville.

The cost of the class is $19 each or $29 per pair. Participants will learn from a Master Gardener about the numerous annual plants and flowers, garden design, and rare annuals they can buy and plant in their yard and garden.
