On Monday, June 11, local farmers and businesses will have the chance to dispose of their old pesticides for FREE at a Pesticide Collection Event in Bloomington. This pesticide collection, which will run from 9:00 a.m. through 12 noon, is sponsored by Scott County, the Minnesota Dept of Ag, and four other metro counties.

Scott County farmers and/or businesses should call 612-348-4657 for more information or to pre-register for the collection. Pre-registration is required! Please note: farm or business pesticides are NOT accepted at the Scott County HHW Facility, so this June 11 collection event might be your only opportunity to safely manage your old pesticides this year. Future collections of this type can not be guaranteed, since they are dependant upon funding from the State of Minnesota.
