“Race to the Finish Line” is coming to New Spirit United Church of Christ, 14394 Quebec Ave., on Sept. 16 at during the 9:30 a.m. worship.

It is the story of two close friends who met in college and share an apartment together, but find their friendship begin to fracture as they start to discuss the idea of race. This play is designed to prompt the audience about how race impacts our lives. Created in collaboration with the “RACE: Are We So Different” exhibit.
