According to this story in the Star Tribune today, the driver of the van that hit the school bus did not have a license. http://www.startribune.com/local/15823132.html Not only that, the driver pleaded guilty to driving without a license and paid a fine in 2006. How does a person get a car to drive without a valid license? Why isn't there more enforcement by local law enforcement over people who have been found guilty of driving without a license? We make sex offenders register and notify communities about where they live. Why isn't more done to enforce the laws which require you to have a valid drivers license to operate a motor vehicle? Something needs to change so the death of these four children is not in vain.
