Thursday, March 20
Firefighters responded to a call on the 14300 block of Allen Drive at 3:48 p.m. The fire was contained to the laundry room of the home, however, there was significant smoke damage to the rest of the dwelling. The residents were at home, but no one was hurt. The department was assisted the Prior Lake Fire Department through mutual aid. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
Friday, March 21
Responding to a call at 12:15 p.m. to the 14700 block of Yosemite Avenue, firefighters assisted Allina Ambulance with a medical call. A woman had fallen and was hurt before she was transported to the hospital.
At 10:48 p.m. residents of a home on the 9200 block of Creek Way reported the smell of sulfur in the home. It was discovered that a child was lighting matches in a bedroom.
Sunday, March 23
A gas line had detached from the meter at 11:42 a.m. in the 12500 block of Zinran Avenue. Firefighters were on the scene for two hours before the gas company arrived to shut the source off.
Monday, March 24
While refilling the gas tank at Holiday Gas Station, 7461 Egan Drive, five gallons of gasoline overflowed and firefighters checked to make sure the spill was contained before getting into the storm water system. They determined it wasn’t dangerous and the gas station was told to clean it up.
