All four finalists in the Children’s Category of the Minnesota Book Awards will appear at the Savage Branch Library  Saturday, April 5, at 1 p.m.Authors Catherine Friend (“The Perfect Nest”), Lynne Jonell (“Emmy and the Shrinking Rat”), Jill Kalz (“Farmer Cap”) and Mia Posada (“Guess What is Growing Inside This Egg”) will read from their books and talk about writing books for children.

Books will be available for purchase and signing. This event is part of the “Chat It Up” series of free events presented in various libraries across the Twin Cities.
