Saturday, April 5
Firefighters responded to smoke alarms going off in a home in the 8500 block of Ridgewood Lane at 11:21 p.m. Firefighters determined the detectors were dirty and cleaned them.
Sunday, April 6
A carbon monoxide alarm was reported at 10:10 a.m. in the 8100 block of Foxberry Bay. Upon arrival, firefighters could not find the cause for the alarms and did not detect any CO in the home.
Monday, April 7
At 9:36 p.m. carbon monoxide was detected in a home in the 4400 block of 132nd Street. Firefighters found raised levels of CO, vented the house and determined the cause was a wood-burning fireplace that was not being used properly. The residents were able to return in the house after firefighters left.
