Friends and volunteers of Carver-Scott Humane Society will join forces to raise money for homeless pets at CSHS’ annual “Walk to Unite Pets & People” on Sunday, May 18 at Lions Park in Chaska.
The walk is CSHS’ largest fund raiser of the year. Activities include kids’ games, booths, contests, a silent auction, raffles, entertainment, and free lunch for all registered walkers. Grand prizes will be awarded to the top three individuals who raise the most money and incentive gifts are cumulative and available to all walkers at the $50, $100, $250, $500 and $1,000 levels.People are encouraged to bring their pets to this event. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. with the Walk starting at 1 p.m. and prizes awarded at 2:30 p.m.
