A power line was reported down at 5:40 a.m. at the Windmill Café, 5367 Hwy. 13. Firefighters secured the area by positioning cones and taping the area off until the power company arrived. The line was down as a result of the strong winds the previous night.

Saturday, April 19

Firefighters were called to a home in the 5000 block of Hidden Valley Court. A 66-year-old man was reportedly not breathing at 3:55 a.m. The man died in his sleep.

At 8:50 a.m., firefighters responded to a home in the 14800 block of Credit View Drive, where a fire alarm was sounding. It was determined it was a false alarm and the steam from a shower set it off.
