A book fair in recognition of April as Autism Awareness Month will take place all day today, (Saturday, April 26) at the Barnes & Noble Booksellers on County Road 42 near Burnsville Center.

Special events planned from 1 to 3 p.m. will include Burnsville Mayor Elizabeth Kautz and other guests reading aloud. Refreshments and other special activities will also be taking place.

A percentage of sales made that day will go toward the purchase of books about autism for all the elementary school in Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191.

The event is sponsored by the District 191 Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC).
